Santiago is an associate in the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions team at the Firm, to which he has belonged since early 2021. He is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and specialized in international commercial law and tort law during his undergraduate studies. His experience includes advising international and local companies on matters related to corporate law, corporate litigation, mergers and acquisitions, asset reorganizations, commercial law, real estate law, and general corporate law.
His practice focuses, among other things, on advising foreign clients in the implementation (and subsequent management) of their businesses in Colombia, through the incorporation of entities, capitalization processes, statutory reforms, appointment of officers, and drafting and reviewing contracts, among other matters.
